The Stairway Special Safety Gate (Model SS-30) is our maximum safety gate designed for the top of a stairway but it's great for all areas! Features include a unique latch system difficult for little hands to manipulate. The gate is constructed of aluminum which is lighter weight than steel.

All of our child safety gates are Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA) certified.

Keep children safe on decks and patios with our Outdoor Safety Gate. This gate is the the identical to the model of the Stairway Special Safety Gate (Model SS30), but features all stainless steel hardware. It's the best gate on the market for outdoor use, period. Available in white, black or brown.

Note: Wood Clamps shown In all photos are sold separately. Wood clamps are unfinished for you to paint or stain to match your home decor.

Gate Can Be Installed At An Angle Unlike most hardware mounted gates, the Stairway Special Safety Gate can be installed at an angle. You can install this gate at angles up to 30 degrees.	Open Latch With One Hand Features a latch that can be opened with only one hand by adults, but baffles toddlers.	Extensions Available: Sold Separately The Stairway Special has two extensions that are available to expand the width of your gate. The top extensions in the picture are 10 ½ inch (Model BX1). The two extensions located on the bottom of the picture are 21 ¾ inch (Model BX2). Both extensions are sold separately and are available in white, black or brown. Extensions are not available for the Wood Gate (Model WG-35).	Clamps Available: Sold Separately Do you need to install your gate between your wall and banisters and don't want to drill holes in them?
